I recently went fishing with David on a heavy wind day. Too rough to fish nearshore but we set out in the Banana River in search of Trout, Reds, and maybe a bonus Snook or Tarpon. David was well prepared and went through a litany of spots, explaining what we needed to do and ensuring we had a great day in the water, catching multiple species and still being able to sight fish despite the negative weather conditions. I would definitely recommend his services and you would be hard pressed to find a guide with the experiences that David has to rely on.

David checked every box from start to finish… communication, punctuality, safety, knowledge, skill, generosity, and compassion. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving people a great experience, not just catching fish. He was professional, patient, and created such a fun and comfortable atmosphere for everyone on board. My 20 year old godson and his friend that were visiting from New Hampshire had an amazing time and made memories they'll never forget. Highly recommend booking with David!

We had an absolutely incredible experience on our fishing charter last Friday. Captain David was outstanding—friendly, patient, and clearly very knowledgeable about the area and the different species we were targeting. This was our first time fishing here, and he made us feel completely comfortable from the start. My sister and I had flown in from Seattle, and this trip ended up being one of the highlights of our visit. Captain David put us right on the fish and gave us great guidance throughout the day, helping us land some truly monster tripletail. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure we had a great time and learned along the way. If you’re considering booking a charter, don’t hesitate—this was a top-tier experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.

Three of us went out with David a couple of weeks ago and had an amazing time! He and his boat were prepared to put us on fish, we caught, Triple Tail, Blues and Croaker. David was knowledgeable of the area and moved us to a different spot if things slowed. We had a great time and were able to have fish for dinner and take fish home. I highly recommend him.

Great day fishing yesterday with Captain David. We caught some nice Tripletail fish. We booked a 3/5 deep sea charter but the weather didn't cooperate so we changed plans and fished closer to shore. I would highly recommend Fishing Devotion Character if you get the chance to book a personal fishing trip.

Really good trip over spring break. Capt david has a great boat, premium tackle and equipment. Worked hard to find fish the whole time and we hammered em. Highly recommend.

We had the BEST time with Captain David on a beautiful day. As two inexperienced fishermen and an 8 year old, we didn’t know what we were getting into- but David took care of us made sure we had an amazing experience. We even followed around a pod of dolphins. Our fish were cleaned for us and ready to eat at the restaurant down the steet. 10 out of 10 day!!!
